Our Services

Coping Skills Groups

At CST Counseling, we are excited to be able to offer our coping skills program each term (summer, fall, winter, spring). Formal coping skills groups are an exceptional add-on to individual therapy. Members are taught one specific coping skill per group. Skills are pulled from CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) and DBT (dialectical-behavioral therapy) and are geared towards clients 14 years and up. Please contact our office for more information or to get registered for an upcoming group.

GeneSight Pharmacogenomic Testing

CST Counseling is pleased to partner with GeneSight to offer pharmacogenomic (genetic) testing to help inform medication management.

The GeneSight Psychotropic test is a quick and painless cheek swab that analyzes specific genetic variations in your DNA. These genetic factors may influence how your body processes and responds to certain psychiatric medications.

The results can provide your healthcare provider with additional information to consider when selecting or adjusting medications commonly prescribed for:

Depression
Anxiety
ADHD
Mood Disorders
Other psychiatric conditions

Your GeneSight results are one part of the treatment decision-making process. Your provider will consider your results along with your symptoms, medical history, current medications, side effects, and treatment goals to help develop an appropriate medication plan for you.

Consultation and Supervision

We are happy to provide supervision services for LCPC candidates as well as weekly/monthly LCPC/LCSW/LPC/LSW supervision and consultation.

Throughout the years, CST Counseling & Consultation has grown to provide consultation for businesses, personal matters, and workplace dynamics. Our consultation services are easily accessed through phone conferences, in-person sessions, or webinars.
